Stock Option Investing Update
As posted over the weekend on Paid2Trade and Seeking Alpha , Robert Weinsten and I have decided to make what we've been doing all along official by publishing a weekly options investing newsletter. The newsletter features coverage of a model portfolio made up of stocks and options, speculative trade ideas, dividend capture ideas by Robert and instructional and informative discussion on basic to intermediate-level options strategies. I anticpate taking questions we receive from readers (about things like implied volatility) and answering them in the newsletter each week.
At day's end, it's about investors helping other other investors. While neither Bob or I are registered/licensed financial advisors, we both making a living trading, investing in, following and writing about the market. This is what we eat, sleep and breathe 24/7. It's our full-time job. Most investors do something else full time and do not have either the time or inclination to attach their livelihoods to the market. Because that's what we do, it only makes sense to fomalize it and pass on the work we do and the ideas it spawns to others through more than our Seeking Alpha articles.
For $29.99 a month, we think you receive great value. As an intro offer, you receive a free copy of my basic options eBook just for signing up. Every Tuesday, starting January 31, 2012, you receive a comprehensive newsletter geared towards new and intermediate-level long-term investors who want to use options to hedge against risk, generate income, achieve long-term growth and do a little bit of speculation. Between Tuesdays, you will hear from us with updates on the model portfolio and trade ideas as well as real-time trade ideas and timely information we think can help make you a better investor.
We do not necessarily expect everybody to act on all of the ideas we put out. It's not about that. We hope you will use our newsletter to educate yourself about options and generate ideas. Some of what we discuss can work for some investors; ultimately, it's up to you to take the information and do with it what's best for you.
If you would like to sign up head over to this link and follow the instructions . After you purchase a membership via PayPal or credit card, you'll receive a confirmation email from us. You need to reply to it. From there, you'll receive all member emails going forward. Of course, you can cancel at anytime.
